House of the Rising Sun Guitar Lesson Please note that in the video I skip 4 measures of the progression. The whole progression is near the bottom of page. p = thumb i = index m = middle a = ring

	Below are the first 4 bars. Notice the fingerpicking hand pattern is the same for all measures. The only thing that changes between measures is the thumb playing different strings on beat 1. But they are exactly the same for the Am and C chord. The E7 chord will have the same pattern as the F. Below is the 22 bar song form. Notice the last line only has 2 measures in it:
	Use a Pick If you want to use a pick there are quite a few ways we could pick it including alternate picking. To the right is the way that feels comfortable to me.
