	:18 - :40 Start by placing your little finger or ring finger on the 17th fret of your high E string for an A and your index finger on the 12th fret for an E. Down pick the A and then pull off to the E. Then up pick the 13th fret of your B string for a C.

1:12 - 1:39 Natural or economy picking. The only time I would use the down pick on the downbeat is on the first beat. When I start measure 2 I would start with an up stroke.

1:40 - 1:48 If we use alternate picking we would end up playing it like this:
