Video Time: 7:27
Strumming section starts at 2:49. The first part of the video finishes the fingerpicking part from the verse.Strum part start at 2:49 in the video. Easy open chords and a fun strum pattern make up the chorus of the Seether hit Broken. The breakdown will help internalize this pattern so you can play it easily without thought.
Here is the pattern with the chord fretboard graphs above. If you are fairly new to the guitar you may need these fretboard graphs above the staff.

Once you are familiar enough with the chord shapes you can just have the chord names above.

2:50 - 3:23
Let's start with our open C chord and playing 4 sixteenth notes on beat 1.
After playing that a few times, add the down beat of beat 2. Focus on that down beat being right with the metronome. The tempo is 62 bpm

3:24 - 3:39
We will add one more upstroke on the C chord giving us a total of 6 and making up a beat and a half. Your last C strum should be with an up.

C

3:40 - 3:53
Next we will put an Em chord on the '&' of beat 2 with a downstroke. Important to practice the C chord for the 6 strokes and going to Em. At this point they are all evenly spaced, however the Em is an eighth note and will be held longer.

Em

3:54 - 4:38
Notice the Em is tied to the down beat of beat 3. You will continue with an up stroke on the 'e' of beat 3.

4:39 -
Our open D chord will be played on beat 4 with 4 sixteenth notes.
