Lost Guitar Lesson

This is a fun Coldplay song that has an easy and more difficult part!

This lesson actually has 4 videos to go with it in total.  One video lesson is just for the solo and one is a cover I did.

Verse

1:51 - 4:08

In this part of the video I explain how to play the percussive rhythmic part I play in the cover I did.

I use the same rhythmic pattern that you see below.  If you would rather not mess with playing the percussive part, it still sounds great (maybe better depending on what you like) with just the chords.  So skip ahead to 4:09 on the video.

4:09 - 6:39

So now let us play it without banging on our guitar 🙂

6:40 - 7:05

This part focuses on the build up into the chorus!

Chorus

7:06 - End

This is the chorus.  I plan to add some more notation files for the breakdown of this riff.

This is the same strum pattern I use in the tripfuse song "In This Mess Again".  I didn't steal it though because my song was released before.  Not that you can steal a strum pattern anyway 🙂
