The verse plays eighths notes throughout. The tricky part is blocking the 6th string on the power chord that are played on strings 3,4 and 5. The other tricky part is just the speed. It is quick at 154 bpm (beats per minute)
Note: 60 bpm would be the same as the second hand on a clock

The chorus is using a very similar strum pattern to that found in strum lesson 2. It again just happens to be quite fast. Nothing a little practice at slower tempos won't fix.
