How to play Welcome Home - Verse
The verse of this Coheed and Cambria song is super fun to play!
Every riff or song I choose to teach is picked for a very specific technique or rhythm to better the members section. Plus it has to be fun and cool sounding 🙂
This particular riff is fairly easy however can be tricky to play clean. The key is to block all the strings but 4 and 5. This takes a bit of practice. Take your time and break it down and you will be able to play it in no time!
So I am calling it a day but I will be back working on this lesson tomorrow. I have a few more cool things I will add to make it easier to practice 🙂
I haven't had a chance to make the mp3 for this yet but will later today or tomorrow for sure. By playing the 2 sixteenth and then staccato eighth then resting for a beat, it will allow us to really ingrain this rhythm.
