Scale Lesson 9
G Major and E Minor Scales in 7th Position
G major scale in 7th position played one octave.
We first learned this form in Lesson 2 with a C major scale in open position (also known as 1st position).
The other fretboard shows the scale extended in the position. This will make it easier to see the E minor scale as well.
Play from E to E and you are playing G majors relative minor, E minor.

Pay no attention to this D7 arpeggio. It is just here at the moment to remind me not to forget about a jam track lesson I started that goes from a G to a D7 chord.
