We can think about this as triplets in 4/4 or we can think about it in 12/8.  For the example below we are going to look at it as 12/8.

Note the pulse (beat) will be on 1, 4, 7 and 10.

The chord progression follows the same rhythm we learned above.  Note if you are working your way through the main lessons this is a very popular chord progression known as:

I  vi IV V

Which mean Eb is the I chord in the key of Eb, Cm is the sixth (vi) chord in the key of Eb, Ab is the fourth (IV) chord in the key of Eb and Bb is the fifth (V) chord in the key of Eb.

We use the upper case roman numerals to indicate major chords and lower case to indicate minor chords.
