Arpeggio Lesson 4

C Major in 2nd Position

We are now going to look at another way to play an arpeggio.  In previous lesson we have taken our open chords and arpeggiated them by playing one note at a time.

Now let's play an arpeggio where we are not holding a chord shape.

We learned that a C major chord was played with the 1st, 3rd and 5th degree of a major scale and those were C, E and G.  In scale lesson 4 we learned a C major scale in 2nd position, so now let us look at the 1st, 3rd and 5th degree of that scale.

Note:  I will make a small exercise to get us playing this and a short video to accompany the lesson.
