This is a super and recognizable riff that is easy and sounds cool!
We start with an A5 power chord played as an arpeggio to start this classic riff.
This whole 2 measure main riff is all eighth notes. So all the notes are evenly spaced with 8 eighth notes in each measure.
Next we will remove the finger playing the high A and play an open G.
For the second half of the first measure we will play an open G chord however we only need the lowest 4 strings.
The first half of measure two has us playing an F5 power chord and then our open D and G strings.
