Easy chords with a fingerpicking pattern and in 3/4 time signature. Don't worry about reading music, the beat by beat breakdown will have you making sense of this in no time.
In 3/4 the quarter note is still worth the beat however we will only have 3 beats in each measure.

Let's Get Started (0:49 - 1:16)
Beat 1 of measure 1 starts with the open D chord and the thumb playing open D on beat one and then middle and ring playing strings 1 and 2 on the '&' of the beat.
D

Let's Add Beat 2 (1:17 - 2:04)
For beat two of this first measure, we will arpeggiate the D chord by playing strings 4,3,2,1 starting with the thumb on the 4th string. Then index will play 3, middle will play 2 and your ring finger will end beat two with string 1.

Let's Add Beat 3 (2:05 - 3:05)
To finish measure 1 we just need to play our low G on the 3rd fret of your low E string on beat 3. Then play open G and open B on strings 3 and 2 on the "&" of beat 3.
You are half way there! You now have measure 1 of this 2 measure riff.
