{"id":12539,"date":"2024-01-25T00:11:02","date_gmt":"2024-01-25T08:11:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musiclearning.com\/?p=12539"},"modified":"2026-03-23T20:08:00","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T03:08:00","slug":"2024-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.musiclearning.com\/gtr\/2024-update\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Making a new blog post has been on my list of things to do for over a year. lol.\u00a0 So finally here I am sitting to write.\u00a0So unfortunately I am not back to working on music full time however I have certainly not stopped working towards that goal.<\/p>\n<p>A quick recap for those reading for the first time.\u00a0 I was lucky enough to earn my living as a professional musician for 25 years but a few years ago I found myself taking a job outside of music to help ends meet.\u00a0 I have come to learn why it is called a 9-5 trap though.\u00a0 Between working and regular life things like cleaning, cooking, walking the dog, there is not a lot of time left in a day.\u00a0 That said, here is what I have been up to:<\/p>\n<p>Biggest change is I started to offer courses on Classic Rock Guitar, Metal Guitar and a couple others.\u00a0 They have not been met with the love I hoped but I will continue to make them better.<\/p>\n<p>I also dipped my feet into the waters of youtube advertising and again not quite the results I was hoping to see but I continue to work on ads and running ads that hopefully bring some new members into the member section.<\/p>\n<p>The most exciting thing since I last blogged is writing.\u00a0 I have been doing lots and lots of writing and I just starting a new everything tripfuse part of the site where I am sharing in the writing process and teaching a lot of the ideas as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Making a new blog post has been on my list of things to do for over a year. lol.\u00a0 So finally here I am sitting to write.\u00a0So unfortunately I am not back to working on music full time however I have certainly not stopped working towards that goal.
