So now we play the same thing as the previous page but up a 4th. If you count up four letters from A (A, B, C, D) you get D. So we play the same riff starting on D. Because the guitar is tuned in 4ths we can move the riff down a set of strings to 3, 4, 5 and play the same thing or we can move up to 10th position and stay on the same strings (4,5,6). Both are correct. Try both and use whichever you prefer.
