Now we move on to measure to 9 and 10. Measure 9 is going to move us to the V chord. In this case if we count up five from A (A,B,C,D,E) we end up with E. This means we will have to play what we did for D but one whole step higher (2 frets towards the body). So if you played the D in 7th position on strings 3,4,5 then you will move it to 9th position and play the same thing. If you used the D in 10th then you will have to move it to 12th position and play the same thing.
