Learn a couple cool ways to improvise using arpeggios. Great lesson for learning your fretboard, improving your technique and training your ear.
Still trying to figure out exactly how I am going to index and maintain the live stream series. I like doing them and a lot of content is usually created in 30 minutes. The trick is figuring out how to organize that material and be able to search it up without having scroll through a long page of material or to watch an entire stream for the content.
So if I am to use the green button and link that is on so many lessons, where would it point?
Next challenge, do I put all of the lesson material to accompany this stream. I would need:
- G minor arpeggio in 3rd
- Eb major 7th arpeggio in 3rd
And now what about the material from part 1, is that a seperate page or do I put it here also as a review and then we don't have to click links to review. Maybe? Maybe not?
For now, the links are:
Arpeggio Lesson 18 (Ebmaj7th in 3rd Position)
That link is currently pointing to an arpeggio lesson that just so happens to have Part 1 of this stream series. I am seeing some real challenges here. With a concern being for the amount of work I might be making for myself with the same material being in multiple sections and pages of the site.
The above video is from a live stream I did on March 6th, 2019 and it covers this G minor arpeggio you will find below. The stream covers a lot of material besides the G minor arpeggio and I will provide links at the bottom of this lesson to the other material.

We learned a G major arpeggio on strings 5 and 6 in lesson 3 and then again in lesson 10. If we lowered the 3rd degree (B) one half step we would have a G minor arpeggio. This example to the right would require a bit of a stretch so another way to play it would be to play the Bb on the 6th fret as shown below.
