Ah! The power chord. Let's start with an A power chord in 5th position. Put your first finger on the 5th fret of your low E string (6th string). Then put your third finger on the 7th fret of your A string (5th string). The fourth finger on the 7th fret of your D string (4th string) is optional. It will give you a bigger sound but is not necessary. Hit the A power chord twice quickly and then stop the strings from ringing by releasing the pressure. Move the form down one whole step for a G power chord (G5) and play it twice on beat 3. Play along with midi files below.
